  • You need a Bitcoin wallet to obtain a Bitcoin address. Use this guide from our friends at Leather, formerly known as Hiro, to download a Bitcoin wallet and obtain your Bitcoin addresses. Your BTC address is usually the main address displayed in your wallet.

When you download your Bitcoin wallet, you are given several addresses. Taproot addresses always start with bc1p. Many wallets call the Taproot address an “Ordinal Address”.
